TIRE SERVICES

Whether your tires need rotating, balancing, repair or even replacement, Jiffy Lube® tire services will get you back on the road fast.

NITROGEN TIRE INFLATION

To help ensure consistent tire pressure no matter the weather conditions, visit Jiffy Lube® for a nitrogen tire inflation service.

WHAT WE DO:

Jiffy Lube® technicians remove the oxygen from the vehicle’s tires and replace it with nitrogen.

HOW IT WORKS:

The pressure of tires inflated with compressed air fluctuates due to a number of factors, including outside air temperatures. Nitrogen helps your vehicle’s tires maintain a consistent pressure, therefore aiding in the prolonging of tire life.

HOW OFTEN:

Nitrogen tire inflation is to be performed as needed.

NOTE: Nitrogen tire inflation only available at select locations.

TIRE ROTATION

To help ensure tire longevity and a smooth ride, visit Jiffy Lube® for a tire rotation.

WHAT WE DO:

Jiffy Lube® rotates your vehicle’s tires to help ensure optimal performance and tire longevity.

HOW IT WORKS:

Tires wear differently depending on their position on the vehicle, your driving style and the condition of your suspension. Regularly rotating your tires helps them wear more evenly.

HOW OFTEN:

Most tire manufacturers recommend tire rotations between 5,000 and 8,000 miles.

TIRE REPAIR

Have a flat tire? Jiffy Lube® tire repair will help get you back on the road quickly.

WHAT WE DO:

Jiffy Lube® first removes the tire from the wheel and inspects to determine whether the tire is repairable. This evaluation includes potential structural damage to the tire and previous repairs.

If a repair is needed, Jiffy Lube® removes the tire, cleans the puncture, preps the area around the puncture and installs a plug or patch from the inside, completely sealing the tire to industry standards. After the repair has set, Jiffy Lube® reinstalls and inflates the tire to your vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.

HOW IT WORKS:

Whether it’s a slow leak or your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light is on, bring your vehicle in to a local Jiffy Lube® to have a technician take a look at it. It might just be a faulty tire valve stem that needs replacing, or perhaps your tire needs a repair. Driving on an under-inflated tire may damage it beyond repair and may lead to a loss in handling and fuel economy.

HOW OFTEN:

Tire repair should be performed as needed. Quality repair of damaged tires helps ensure safe vehicle operation. In some cases, tires cannot be repaired, and must be replaced.

NOTE: Tire repair only available at select locations.

TIRE REPLACEMENT

For quick and convenient tire installation, visit Jiffy Lube® for new tire installation service.

WHAT WE DO:

Jiffy Lube® professionally installs and balances new tires that meet or exceed your manufacturer’s specification.

HOW OFTEN:

Tires should be inspected for condition as well as measured for tread depth and changed based upon results.

NOTE: Tire replacement only available at select locations.

TIRE AND WHEEL BALANCING

Bad vibrations? To help ensure a smooth ride and tire longevity, Jiffy Lube® offers wheel balancing.

WHAT WE DO:

Jiffy Lube® removes all four of your vehicle’s wheels, spin-balances them and attaches weights to bring the balance within specifications.

HOW IT WORKS:

As tires wear, the weight distribution can change, altering the balance of the wheel. Out-of-balance wheels often create vibration or shake noticeably when the vehicle is driven. Regularly having your wheels balanced helps ensure an optimal ride as well as tire performance and longevity.

HOW OFTEN:

Balancing your wheels should be performed as needed.

NOTE: Tire and wheel balancing only available at select locations.

TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM

TPMS light on? Visit Jiffy Lube® and let us inspect, reset and/or service your TPMS.

WHAT WE DO:

Jiffy Lube® inspects, resets and/or services your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

HOW IT WORKS:

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System, also referred to as TPMS, is an electronic system inside your vehicle that monitors the air pressure in your tires. The system is designed to notify you if your tire is under- or over-inflated via the light on your dashboard.

HOW OFTEN:

If your Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light is on, you should have your tires and/or your TPMS checked.

NOTE: TPMS services only available at select locations.
